For-profit Merchants of Misery : The Boycott list
In another Medium story, I outlined the reasons why AILA (The American Immigration Lawyers Association) opposes a bill to desegregate skilled immigration on race/national origin.
Simply put, it goes against their economic interests. Eliminating structural racism (which is what the per-country cap is) would take away a big chunk of reliable revenue.
Which is why, if you are a backlogged immigrant from India or China, you are pitted against these for-profit racists.
The only way for advocates of equality and fairness to prevail over this group is to ensure that these lawyers don’t see any revenue from our misery.
I invite everyone reading this post to contribute to the blacklist compiled here. Every perfidious action and the name of the firm will be available for the world to see.
